When you upload a video to Facebook, it gets converted into their preferred format. To ensure your cinemagraph is being uploaded to Facebook in the highest possible quality, make sure it meets the following specifications:

Format = H.264 (MP4)
Length = Under 30 seconds
Frame Rate = 30fps or below
Recommended Resolution = 720p (recommended) or 1080p
Aspect Ratio = 16:9 to 9:16 

Whether you're creating cinemagraphs on Cinemagraph Pro for macOS or Cinemagraph Pro for iOS, you can share them on Facebook in a few simple steps.

Cinemagraph Pro for macOS

  1. Export your cinemagraph by selecting Export (⌘E) at the upper right corner of the app or under the File menu
  2. Under Format, select H.264 (MP4) 
  3. Increase the number of repetitions to equal 15 - 30 seconds. All videos under 30 seconds uploaded to Facebook have the ability to autoplay and loop. 
  4. Click Next and name your file
  5. Go to Facebook and upload your cinemagraph in a status update


Cinemagraph Pro for iOS

There are two ways you can upload your cinemagraph to Facebook.

  1. When you're done editing your cinemagraph, tap Done
  2. Select Export
  3. Increase the number of repetitions by selecting Facebook under Repetitions 
  4. Tap Share 
  5. Select Facebook*
  6. Enter a caption and post your cinemagraph to Facebook

*If you don't see the Facebook app in your sharing options, swipe to the end of the list and tap More to view your Activities. Enable the Facebook app and tap Done. Select Facebook in your sharing options which will open your cinemagraph in a status update on Facebook.

OR

  1. When you're done editing your cinemagraph, tap Done
  2. Select Export
  3. Increase the number of repetitions by selecting Facebook under Repetitions 
  4. Tap Save 
  5. Select Photo Library
  6. Open the Facebook app and upload your cinemagraph in a status update
