License codes are only issued for Cinemagraph Pro 2 for macOS licenses purchased from the Flixel Store. If you purchased a Cinemagraph Pro for Mac license from the Flixel Store prior to October 27, 2016 and haven't upgraded to Version 2, you won't have a license code. Your license will have to be activated with a file as opposed to a code. 

Your license file would have been sent to the email address you used to complete the purchase. Contact support@flixel.com if you're unable to recover your license file. 


Once you have your license file, follow the steps outlined below.

  1. If you haven't already, download Cinemagraph Pro for macOS. To activate your license purchased from the Flixel Store, the app has to be downloaded here as opposed to the Mac App Store. 
  2. Drag and drop your license file onto the app in the dock to activate your version 1 license, as shown below. 

If you've completed these steps and still see the Flixel watermark, click here to troubleshoot.


Note: If you purchased Cinemagraph Pro from the Mac App Store, your license is connected to the Apple ID that purchased it. Read How to activate Licenses Purchased on the App Store for more information.
