Cinemagraph Pro for Mac (Version 1) licenses were available for purchase on the online Flixel Store prior to October 27, 2016. You can still use your Version 1 license on Cinemagraph Pro 2, but the activation process is different. Instead of a license key, Cinemagraph Pro for Mac (Version 1) licenses are activated with a license file.
Cinemagraph Pro for Mac (Version 1) license files were issued via email at the time of purchase on the online Flixel Store. The name of the license file will be in the following format: YourName.CinemagraphLicense.
If you're having trouble locating the license file in your email, contact us and we'll help you out! Once you have the license file, follow these steps to activate your license:
- Download Cinemagraph Pro for macOS
- Launch the app
- Drag and drop the license file onto the application in the dock, as shown below
After dragging the license file onto the application in your dock, your should see the Account & License window, as shown below. If you don't see the Account & License window, go to the Cinemagraph Pro menu or use the keyboard shortcut ⌥⌘A (Option-Command-A).
If you exit the Account & License window, you'll be using the Cinemagraph Pro 2 for macOS trial which shows our watermark. Use the trial to decide whether you want to upgrade your license or continue using your current one. New features available in Version 2 include: crop & straighten, tone curve color adjustments, and custom presets.
To remove the watermark and continue using your Version 1 license, select Revert to Version 1 Features.
To remove the watermark and upgrade to Cinemagraph Pro 2 for macOS, select Upgrade to Version 2.
